Why not pack up and run away
to Cornwall for Christmas and/or New Year?
We have four self-catering
cottages/lodges available:
-
A 1 bedroom that
sleeps up to 4;
-
Two 3 bedrooms that
sleeps up to 6;
-
A 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom that sleeps up to 10.
Each cottage will be provided
with a Christmas tree and festive welcome pack.
This is a quiet, relaxing
part of the country, and you will probably be happy to escape from commercialism
with bracing walks on the cliffs or beaches, but there are one or two things
going on over the Christmas period:
Many of the local
pubs/restaurants do a Christmas dinner – let us know if you want us to book you
in somewhere.
A candle lit service at Rame
church is an experience (11th century with no electricity, gas or
water laid on).
Cawsand is a lively place on
New Years Eve, with the five pubs overflowing with revellers in fancy dress,
and the New Years Day dip from Cawsand beach attracts hundreds of people many
of whom take to the sea in their fancy dress to raise money for charity.
The pantomime at the Theatre
Royal this year is Dick Whittington starring Christopher Biggins.
The Eden project is worth a
visit. They flood one of their biomes to
create an ice-rink, and surround it with stalls selling food, drink & local
produce.
Minimum length of stay is 3
nights, which costs from £375 self-catering.
Please note that the B&B side of the business is closed over the Christmas and New Year periods, as is the restaurant and the pool.
